    ‘hello I’m Kathryn”

    The girl behind Sunshine & Whiskey.

    I guess the best way to describe me - a crazy creative, always busy, hairstylist, farmer, animal lover, partner & mum of 4.

    Drawing inspiration from my day to day life, as well as anything in this world that makes me smile.
    I’ve always had a quirky colourful persona,

    often thinking I was born in the wrong generation. Loving a huge variety of different genres, including rockabilly/vintage - cars - dogs (especially boxers & frenchies) - autumn - my farm animals ect.

    Ive dabbled in variety of art forms. But only started playing with resin and acrylics in 2019.

    From there I developed various items , including personalised tumblers, unique ‘one off’ pieces of furniture, and now to be designing my own line of brooches/ jewellery is a dream come true.

    Thanks to my supportive man, I was able to not only hang up my scissors (after 21 years of hairdressing) at the end of 2021 - but was able to committed full time to our children, our farm, and creating my craft empire (lol).

    I look forwards to creating many more beautiful fun designs. I hope you will join me along this journey - and enjoy wearing and collecting my brooches as much as I do.
